Yes — the Cloud plan gives you 20,000 processing units and 5,000 image uploads every month, free, with no credit card and no trial clock. It stays free every month as long as you're within those limits.

Each detection stage on each object counts as one unit — locating a plate, reading a plate, locating a vehicle and identifying its make and model are one unit each. A full read of a single vehicle is about four units. Uploading an image to our endpoint is counted separately, against your monthly upload allowance.

Once you use up your 20,000 units or 5,000 uploads for the month, further requests are declined until everything resets on the 1st. If you regularly need more, talk to us about a higher-volume or On-Premises plan.

The free Cloud plan accepts up to one image per second per key. Send a second image within the same second and you'll get a 429 response with a one-second Retry-After. Higher sustained throughput and burst limits are available on custom and On-Premises plans.
